The new building of the Reichersbeurer Raiffeisenbank was officially consecrated by the church.

Mayor Dieckmann recalled the property castling.

Reichersbeuern

– After a construction period of around one year, the Raiffeisenbank im Oberland team moved into the newly built business premises on the former Neuwirt site in Reichersbeuern last October (we reported).

However, the official opening was postponed due to the corona pandemic.

This was now made up for on Wednesday afternoon with numerous invited guests of honor.

Construction time: 12 months

Deacon Joachim Baumann and the evangelical pastor Johannes Schultheiss donated the church blessing.

Before that, greetings were on the program.

Raiffeisenbank board member Manfred Gasteiger quoted Goethe: "You can also build something beautiful out of stones that are placed in your way." mixed up again.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the project.

"I'm particularly proud of the fact that we were able to engage many regional companies for the realization," said Gasteiger.

He also gave his special thanks to the head of real estate management, Georg Heuschneider, who was responsible for the construction process.

In addition to the bank branch, a corner house and four apartments were built in Reichersbeuern.

Great importance was attached to sustainability and energy efficiency.

Among other things, there is a photovoltaic system and a connection to the Reichersbeur local heating network, Manfred Gasteiger listed.

E-charging stations were also created in two places by the municipality of Reichersbeuern.

Mayor Ernst Dieckmann recalled the building change that the municipality and the bank have done.

In 2014, the idea of buying the old Raiffeisen building, which also houses the “Altwirt” inn, came up for the first time through the community.

The former bank became the new town hall, while the money house was built diagonally opposite on the former "Neuwirt" site.

“Today is a joyful, beautiful day.

The town center of Reichersbeuern will be upgraded enormously with the new Raiffeisenbank building,” said Dieckmann.

This was followed by the symbolic key handover by the architect responsible, Joachim Staudinger, to the branch manager, Josef Reiter.

Andreas Melf then skilfully presented the wishes of all employed craftsmen in the form of poems.

He hopes “...that the building will be spared from harm, fire and other suffering at all times.

And that for the client who invests so much money, the system will eventually pay off.” (Hans Demmel)
