Hundreds of people demonstrated in the streets of the Italian city of Verona, denouncing the practices of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), demanding that it leave Europe and stop its arms transfers to Ukraine.
The Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported that the demonstration was organized by the Verona Movement for Freedom, where the demonstrators carried flags, posters and banners with anti-NATO slogans.
The movement said in a statement published on its Facebook account: The official narrative in Italy and NATO countries about Ukraine does not inspire confidence at all, criticizing the policies of Italy, the United States and NATO countries regarding the situation around Ukraine.
The movement considered that the conflict is organized, managed and supported by the Western forces led by NATO, noting that the alliance takes positions against the Ukrainian people.
