The Directorate of Health Affairs in Damascus Governorate organized 51 violations against owners of restaurants and food stores who violated health conditions, during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
The Director of Health Affairs, Dr. Shadi Khallouf, stated that the seizures organized by the health control patrols during their tours included violations of non-compliance with hygiene and health conditions, displaying foodstuffs outside stores, the presence of expired materials, failure to present health documents, and displaying foods in an open manner.
Khalouf pointed out that the health control patrols dealt with a number of complaints submitted by citizens.
