The chairman of Ra'am, Mansour Abbas, wrote a long post this evening (Saturday) on his Facebook page according to which the person who represents the party's position on the issue of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is Abdullah, King of Jordan.
Abbas wrote on the Facebook page in Arabic: "We do not comment on leaks and repeated rumors from official and unofficial political sources
.
Abbas continued: "I informed Prime Minister Bennett and the successor to Lapid after my consultation meeting with the king two weeks ago. I emphasize that the demands and positions regarding al-Aqsa are determined by King Abdullah, while the permanent solution is the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza. "It is a breach of Jerusalem and at the heart of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It is our duty to support the efforts of King Abdullah."
Abbas' post apparently comes with the aim of calming the criticism and pressure on him, especially in the run-up to the forthcoming meeting of the Shura Council.
His goal is to show them that he is not giving up or abandoning the Palestinian issue and is determined to defend al-Aqsa and show that the coalition now depends on Abbas and what will be achieved in the discussions on al-Aqsa.
In response to Abbas' post, MK Shlomo Qarai from the Likud responded on the Twitter page, writing:
This is a betrayal of the country.
And the bunch of charlatans who have taken over the wheel and go on as if nothing will do justice to it.
"Former members of the right, save yourself, before it's too late."
The mainstay of Bennett and Lapid's coalition of perversions is not afraid to state in a wavy bristle that the interests of a foreign state take precedence over the interests of the State of Israel.
This is a betrayal of the country.
And the bunch of charlatans who have taken over the wheel and go on as if nothing will do justice to it.
Former right-wingers, save yourself, before it's too late.
