She recalled that after completing the second chemotherapy on February 18 this year, on February 24, because the building where she lived in was listed as a mandatory testing building, and she was tested only to find out that she had contracted the virus. Although fortunately she received two doses of the new crown vaccine, her condition was relatively mild, but she still had sore throat, runny nose and cough, especially severe sore throat, which affected her eating. In addition, the side effects of chemotherapy drugs made her stomach discomfort and it was difficult to sleep.

After 11 days, the symptoms of the new crown gradually subsided. On March 6, the test result turned negative, and the chemotherapy injection can be continued.

Shiying's eldest daughter Tianwei still remembers that at the end of last year, when she learned that her mother was suffering from cancer, her heart was already heavy. When she learned that her mother was infected with the virus in February this year, her emotions almost collapsed.

She said that since she was nearly nine months pregnant at the time, the epidemic was serious and it was inconvenient to go out. She was very worried when she thought that she could not visit or buy supplies for her mother who was quarantined at home.
