Report: The fund owned by the former adviser to the former president of the United States will raise three billion dollars • For the first time, Saudi money will be invested directly in Israel

Jared Kushner, an adviser to former US President Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump's husband, intends to invest Saudi money in Israeli start-ups, the Wall Street Journal reported today (Saturday).

According to the information published, the fund owned by Korshner Affinity Partners Investment Promotion has raised a sum of three billion dollars, two of them through the Saudi fund.

This is a precedent according to which Saudi money will be invested directly in Israel and an unprecedented hint of the behind-the-scenes rapprochement that has taken place in recent years between Jerusalem and Riyadh.

As you may recall, in September 2020, following the Avraham agreements, Kushner worked to ensure that Saudi Arabia would allow all Israeli flights to pass over its territory, and not just flights to and from the Emirates.

Three months later, about a month before the end of Donald Trump's term, Kushner said in an exclusive interview with Israel Today that he believes the Trump administration was "the most pro-Israel I can imagine."
