Documentation of the moments of the attack in Elad (Walla system!)
Two days after the murderous attack in Elad, the security forces continue tonight (Saturday) in an extensive search for the terrorists.
Special and classified units of the police and the IDF use advanced technological means of search, including skimmers and police helicopters, which scan the area and transmit in real time to the Central District Operations' integrated operations unit, in a way that focuses and directs the units on the ground to suspicious figures.
Police issued a statement today (Saturday) asking the public to refrain from foot traffic and encounters in nature in areas where security forces are operating, which have also been closed to vehicular traffic.
Police stressed that one should act responsibly and refrain from chaining false messages from an unknown source on the network, announcing "closure guidelines in homes and suspicious movements in cities."
According to police, when such a directive is given to the public, it is published by an official announcement in the media.

This morning, a statement was issued by Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, according to which at the end of Shabbat the minister will decide on the continuation of the closure on Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip in accordance with the assessment of the security situation and intelligence emerging from the area.
In addition, the Minister may decide on additional courses of action in response to the attack on Elad.
Already yesterday, two working assumptions were formulated in the defense establishment.
The first is that the terrorists remained in Israeli territory and are preparing for another attack;
The second, that they managed to escape to the territories of Judea and Samaria.
In addition, it is believed that the terrorists fled on foot from Elad and to the north, or fled by vehicle.
"They do not rule out any possibility," security officials said.
The Central District Police Chief, Superintendent Avi Bitton, noted that the police believe that the terrorists fled while armed, and that the security forces are preparing accordingly.
On Saturday night, it will be decided whether to reinforce the Judea and Samaria Division.
