The authorities of the self-proclaimed Transnistrian Republic in eastern Moldova announced new attacks on its territory.
And the website Russia Today quoted the Ministry of the Interior as saying in a statement, “Four explosions occurred yesterday evening in the vicinity of the former airport near the village of Voronkovo in the Rybnitsky region, close to the border of Ukraine,” noting that “two bombs were probably dropped by a drone, and then the attack was repeated an hour later.” .
"This incident was preceded by another attack in which two other projectiles were dropped near Voronkovo yesterday," the statement said, noting that the attacks did not result in human casualties.
In its statement, the Ministry of Interior did not indicate who it considered responsible for the attack.
For its part, the Ministry of Defense of Transnistria denied the validity of the allegations about the announcement of the general mobilization of the army and other armed formations in the self-proclaimed republic.
This comes against the backdrop of the escalation of security tensions around Transnistria, which has witnessed in recent weeks a series of security incidents.
