The Israeli media is by far the most effective weapon of the enemy in its war against us.

The enemy, from his side, shoots, stabs, burns and throws stones and Molotov cocktails.

The media, for its part, provides the justification for all of these.

Arabs riot on the Temple Mount, throwing stones, waving Hamas flags and chanting in praise of Muhammad Daf?

This is probably because of the decision of the police forces to break into the mountain, or because of the immigration of Jews to the place, or because of three guys who expressed a desire to slaughter a goat there.

Arabs violently attack the Ministry of Justice, the district court building and the policemen on the way?

This is probably because the police set up roadblocks at the Nablus gate and upset them.

Arabs burn synagogues in Lod?

This is of course because of the Torah nucleus sitting there.

Since the events of "The Guardian" in Lod last year - the violence, lynching, arson and shooting attacks - the Israeli mainstream media has been working overtime, and with great obsession, in an effort to clear the Lod Arabs of the antisemitic stain that clung to them and pass on the responsibility to their Jewish victims.

Did we say obsession?

Well, last Saturday it came from the hands of the N12 website and reporter Omri Maniv.

Yield, as far as items involving agendas and political positions are concerned, he is a suspicious journalist.

In his cell, he carries a blood libel that he sewed a few years ago for the Atzmona pre-military preparatory school and one of its rabbis, which he painted, for no injustice in his palm, as someone who preaches against Zionism and against service in the IDF.

Maniv was then forced to apologize, his channel was forced to compensate the mechina and the rabbi with money, but that is not really the important thing, since mistakes can happen to any journalist.

The point is that in this case it was not, as stated, just a mistake, but a real plot that every journalist with his eyes in his head was supposed to recognize that there is nothing between it and the facts.

And what he did then, he did this week.

again.

Maniv returned to the events of the "Guardian of the Walls" in Lod and to what happened on the evening when Musa Hasson, an Arab resident of the city, was shot dead there.

Hasson, for the benefit of those who do not remember, was in a group of Arabs who attacked the Jewish "Neve Nof" neighborhood with stones and Molotov cocktails.

As the gang of rioters advanced and reduced range towards the neighborhood, some of its residents went out (proper disclosure: one of them is a relative of mine), and repulsed the attackers, among other things while firing.

Several bullets were fired into the air.

One bullet hit Hasson and killed him.

Five of the Jewish shooters were arrested following this incident, and released two days later.

A few weeks later, the prosecution closed the investigation files against everyone out of innocence.

Four of them, the ballistic test revealed, did not fire the shot that hit the sturdy.

As for Thursday, the test results could not determine with certainty whether his weapon fired the deadly bullet or not, but the prosecution decided that this question was irrelevant anyway, after receiving his version of self-defense shooting.

So far the story of the act.

Attempt blurring

Omri Maniv presented new material on Saturday night, and under the heading "Did a senior police officer plaster a shooting investigation against the residents of Lod?", Did everything in his power to put question marks around the closing of the cases of those Jews suspected of the shooting.

To explain how shallow Maniv's journalistic work was, we will go over this story, fact after fact, detail after detail.

"On the night of May 10 last year," Maniv began, "an incident that began with stone-throwing between Arabs and Jews in the city of Lod, ended in a fatal shooting that resulted in the death of Musa Hasson, a city resident, truck driver and father of three."

The effort to create a balance between the parties is a recurring issue in every article on the Lod issue, backed by reporters of the Maniv type.

When Maniv speaks of "an event that began with the throwing of stones between Arabs and Jews," he wants to say that there is no aggression and sacrifice here.

These threw on these, these threw on these, and from there everything warmed up.

it's a lie.

Here are the facts: The incident during which Hasson was shot occurred, as mentioned, when Arabs attacked stones and Molotov cocktails at a Jewish neighborhood.

There is and has not been any parallel case in which an Arab neighborhood was attacked by a group of Jews.

But it fulfilled.

The attempt to paint the event as starting there, in this clash, is even more false.

Yedidya Zuckerman, a resident of Lod, who has been researching everything that happened in the city in those days for a year, collected all the reports from that evening from the WhatsApp groups of the Jewish residents in the nearby neighborhoods.

The picture that emerges from reading these reports, hours before the incident in which Hasson was killed, tells the whole story.

Already about three and a half hours before the shooting, Arabs began blocking roads in the city with Palestinian and Hamas flags in their hands.

25 minutes later, they burned the Israeli flag, set fire to a trash can and threw stones at a firefighter who arrived at the scene.

Another minute passed and they started throwing stones at the police station.

Another four minutes passed before they threw explosives and fireworks on Struma Street.

Three hours before the firing on Hasson, stone-throwing also began on the Chicago community center in the city, and ten minutes later the local police station was set on fire.

At 10:30 PM, Arabs broke into the "Talmud Torah Maoz Chaim" Jewish elementary school.

Another five minutes passed and they started dismantling the new flooring in the khan and throwing it at the cops.

At 23:00, after setting fire to a garbage frog, they set fire to the "Salvation of God" synagogue on Hechalutz Street, and 20 minutes later, Jewish vehicles began to burn.

At 23:25, a police spokeswoman reported: "A police force is operating in Ramla and Lod in the face of riots by young people, who are throwing stones and fireworks at police officers and buildings and burning cans and tires."

Another 20 minutes passed and Arabs set fire to a tin in the parking lot of Balfour Street, blocked Exodus Street and set fire to a building in the municipal market.

At midnight they threw stones at Jews in Flower Square.

At midnight and a half they started destroying vehicles on Alshvili Street.

7 minutes later masked men set fire to Hasmonean Street.

At about the same time, the pre-military preparatory school and the elementary school were also set on fire.

A few minutes later, a car was set on fire near the mechina, and only then did the incident begin, which began with an attack by dozens of Arabs on the Jewish neighborhood, when the police did not respond to phone calls, and ended with Hasson's death.

Maniv's attempt to paint a balanced picture, and to describe the events of violence in Lod as having begun with mutual stone-throwing, is nothing but a blatant lie.

Just like Hassona's innocent description as "a truck driver, a father of three."

That is to say, a normative man, engaged in the livelihood of his family, who fell into the arena and was shot to death in an incident that is his victim.

Against the background of this blurring experience, it is important to mention the facts.

The Hasson family is a family that is heavily involved in terrorist activities against Jews.

The story told by the indictments filed after the riots shows that the dead Musa's brother, three cousins and another relative - each according to his size and part - were involved in a series of acts of terrorism: The burning of Jewish vehicles, the throwing of Molotov cocktails and stone-throwing at police officers and civilians

. Three years ago, at a house inhabited by people with whom his family was in conflict, two other relatives of his, also from Lod, were convicted two decades ago, after aiding a suicide bomber.

The program "The Source," which aired on Channel 13, brought the testimony of his wife, from whom it became clear that her husband Musa was a little less innocent than the media tried to tell about him.

"I told him, 'Shiko, there's a mess, don't go,'" she said.

"He told me, 'No, I have to stand up and make a response, stop all the noise in Jerusalem. Stop. Do not encourage violence or racism. No. I want to go. I must respond to what is happening. Stop already, enough.'

A clear ballistic test

Now, let's get to the point.

Omri Maniv brings a recording taken in the interrogation room, after the arrest of the five young Jews, on suspicion of harming Hasson.

In the recording, one of the interrogators is heard telling one of the interrogators that the commander of the police weapons laboratory does not want to test the weapons of the Jewish suspects, claiming that he himself lives in Lod and that he believes the Jews fired in self-defense.

"The exclusive documentation we bring here from the interrogation room raises very difficult questions. Was this interrogation deliberately slapped by senior police and political system officials?" Maniv wonders, continuing: .

And here, to prove that the investigation was further disrupted, he also brings a tweet from the then Minister of Internal Security, Amir Ohana, who explained that the arrest of those who acted in self-defense is a terrible matter in his eyes, and his it was at his discretion detainees were released.

"A few hours after the minister's tweet," a lucrative author between the two, "the head of the weapons lab asks the investigator to take out the suspects for self-defense," adding: "... a day later the suspects were indeed released at Minister Ohana's request."

Really, it's not clear where to start dismantling this pile of lies.

We will try anyway.

Let's assume that everything revealed in the article is true.

That is, that there really was some officer who delayed the ballistic inspection.

And let's say, for the sake of discussion, that because of him, and only because of him, this test was delayed by a few days.

After all, there is no dispute that in the end this test was conducted and revealed that four out of the five did not harm Hasson, meaning that they are certainly innocent,

So if the investigation did not find any connection between any of the shooters arrested and the fatal injury, who should it be that there is some kind of police officer, as stated on the assumption that this story is true, who delayed the investigation?

And what "rendering" is Yiviv talking about, when the result of the test does not link any of the suspects to this shooting?

Wait, that's not all.

Because taking into account the findings of the ballistic test, one also realizes how false Maniv's conclusion line is, that "it is difficult to know whether there was a place for prosecution in this incident, for which the police investigation was intended, but that, as investigators themselves reveal, Inside the police and politicians outside it. "

What is polluted?

What personal perceptions?

There is a sharp and clear ballistic test.

Wait, say, but maybe it's all because of Amir Ohana, who threw his hat on the police so much that she decided to shut everything down without investigating?

So here we come to one more nonsense of yield in this wonderful article.

The case of the five suspects was accompanied by a prosecutor on behalf of the prosecution from its first moment.

And at the end of the procedure, the person who closed this case and chose to lock it up out of innocence, that is, to clear the suspects completely, is not the officer from Omri Maniv's lab, but the State Attorney's Office.

So what do you say, yielding, that the prosecution was also afraid of Amir Ohana's tweets?

Large swelling

To understand how shallow the non-journalistic work of Maniv and his channel is, and how embarrassing their attempt to women a dead investigation closed with innocence, just to find a way to blame the Jews for what the Arabs did to them, it is important to read the prosecution's arguments.

Thus, in the required summaries, the prosecution explains its decision: with regard to four of the suspects "a ballistic opinion was received denying the possibility that they carried out the shooting ... It is not possible to determine with the required level of certainty in the criminal trial that it was this suspect who carried out the fatal shooting. "

And here the prosecution adds another tier, much more significant.

"Even if there was enough evidence to prove that the shooting carried out by the suspect harmed the deceased, his claim that he acted in self-defense in the circumstances of the case must be accepted, so there is no need to prosecute him for this." There were many rioters at the time, who threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the suspects and others, and even shouted that they intended to commit more violent acts. The continued darkness of the place and the fact that they repeatedly tried to call the police, who in the face of the large number of incidents were unable to respond to the difficult situation on the ground, also added to the feeling of uncertainty and fear.

Do you understand, Omri yields?

The Arabs were the ones who attacked violently, the Jews were the ones who defended themselves.

Not the officer from the lab says that.

The State Attorney's Office determines this.

And if you want to understand what leads a journalist to try to disrupt the story of the act in this way, here comes his line and explains everything.

"This was probably the most sensitive interrogation during the Wall Guard."

Yes, you read that right.

"The most sensitive investigation."

In Acre, a Jew was burned to death and three others were seriously injured in the lynching.

In Lod itself, Yigal Yehoshua was murdered in a brutal lynching, and for Maniv, the investigation into Hasson's death was "extremely sensitive."

So here are two details that are supposed to be a little more interesting and "sensitive" than the story of Musa Hasson's death.

Did you read what the State Attorney's Office writes in and of itself about what the dozens of Arabs who attacked the Jewish neighborhood did with "stones and Molotov cocktails"?

I asked the police this week what would be done with them.

Have any of them been interrogated?

Have any of them been indicted?

Or were all the police investigative efforts directed at some Jews who wanted to save their lives?

Well, no indictment has been filed against any of the Arab rioters to date.

Only one of them was interrogated with a warning.

But so that you do not lose optimism, the police promise, a year after the events, "we will continue to investigate the case in order to get to the truth."

And if Omri Maniv is looking for sensitive and important investigations in Lod, here's another statistic that I'm willing to bet most of you have not heard of.

During the days of the Arab riots in Lod, five young Jews were injured in five different shooting incidents.

If these bullets had hit a few inches to the side, we would have ended the Lod events with five other Jews killed.

No indictments were filed for four of these five shootings because the shooters were not apprehended.

So what were we left with at the end of the day?

With a series of unsolved shooting attacks on Jews and probably not really interesting to anyone.

With an attack by dozens of Arabs on a Jewish neighborhood, none of whose participants were prosecuted.

And with a big swell of N12 and reporter Omri Yaniv, in an attempt to hold in the air the false narrative of violence on both sides.
