Yonatan Habakkuk was killed in a terrorist attack in Elad on Thursday after he fought the two terrorists and tried to prevent them from continuing the brutal killing spree.
Before collapsing, he wounded the terrorists and, according to a security source, "there were clear signs of sabotage on their bodies. One of them also bled."
He stumbled upon the scene as he was walking around the area with his six-year-old son and when he noticed the hazards, he ran towards them and grabbed them, according to his family.
Habakkuk left behind a widow and five children.
Meir Iluz, his brother-in-law, said that "Jonathan was a hero in his life but we did not know how much of a hero he was. He saved many Jews with courage and heroism."
