"I want my GEZ fees back": ZDF television garden viewers bored from the first episode

The ZDF television garden is back.
On Twitter, viewers are disappointed by the first episode.
The show with Andrea Kiewel is sometimes too long-winded.
Lerchenberg – The ZDF television garden (all news on the topic page) started the new season on Sunday afternoon with strong guests: among others Maite Kelly, Giovanni Zarrella and Chris de Burgh.
But while musical acts provided the best entertainment, the rest of the program couldn't quite keep up.
Fans were disappointed.

Andrea Kiewel has to improvise in the ZDF television garden
Actually, Andrea Kiewel (56) and the viewers of the ZDF television garden (all information about the show) on the Lerchenberg in Mainz were looking forward to a spectacular parachute formation.
But this is a long time coming.
Frankfurt Airport is located near the ZDF site.
Before the plane from which the parachutists jump can climb to an altitude of 3,000 meters as planned, it has to wait until the airspace is released.
And that takes so long, "it just takes time," says pilot Hans Jürgen dryly.
He is with Andrea Kiewel in the open-air studio - and waits.

TV garden viewer bored
So, to pass the time until the jump happens, Kiwi does what she does best: chat.
But it feels like an eternity before the ZDF plane is finally allowed to climb into the drop zone.
The viewers are already starting to get bored.
Kiwi talks lint in his mouth while the plane continues to grind.
"I want my GEZ fees back,"
mocks a Twitter user who is angry about the ZDF program.

On Twitter, the ZDF television garden is scolded
"Dear ZDF, please, PLEASE, never again such contributions in the television garden," writes another.
He adds: "They just take far too long and are more annoying than they are really exciting." Then it finally starts: The parachutists drop out of the plane and form a formation together.
But the spectators cannot be placated.
"And that's why we've waited so long?!" asks a Twitter user, unnerved.
A second judges: "Now we've been waiting forever for something that's eaten in five minutes".
Will Kiwi be able to change viewers' minds again next week?

"Hugely decreased": ZDF television garden fans are amazed at Maite Kelly
Maite Kelly, on the other hand, did much better in the audience's favour.
The pop singer Kelly received a lot of praise for her slim appearance on the ZDF television garden.
