Together with the other blue light organizations, the fire brigade and the police, the BRK readiness Ismaning celebrated its 50th anniversary.
With a pageant and vintage car convoy.
Ismaning
– The Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) in Ismaning has already helped many people with life-saving measures, small supplies or, most recently, vaccination campaigns against severe corona courses.
In view of countless good deeds, one really deserved better weather for the highlight of the festival year on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the local association: On the festival Sunday, the local association invited to a pageant, which was perhaps a bit of a substitute for the one in Ismaning again this year canceled folk festival.
Ismaninger blue light organizations are in the center
The three blue light organizations in Ismaning, the Red Cross, the fire brigade and the police, were at the center of the parade.
They showed a number of former emergency vehicles in the vintage car convoy.
A highlight on the part of the police, for example, was the V8 Baroque Angel, which is also known from the legendary TV series "Isar 12".

Used in the 1972 Olympic assassination attempt
The Ismaninger Rotkreuz Group owns, among other things, a BMW 2002, which was used, among other things, in the 1972 Olympic assassination attempt in Munich.
The most important place of the parade this time was the church square, where the vehicles were presented with their technical details and special applications.
This interaction in the convoy was a symbol for Martin Waas, chairman of the medical support association: "We blue light organizations work hand in hand and don't know different flags."

Ismaninger clubs march in the pageant
The festival weekend was one of the rare occasions for the helpers to celebrate together.
A good dozen Ismaning clubs joined in and congratulated BRK Ismaning on taking part in the move.
The day before, the BRK had exhibited its former and current vehicles around the citizens' hall, but at this small festival, the visit was manageable due to the weather.
Martin Waas took it sporty: "We put more than 350 hours into the planning and ended up in reality.
But we always have to improvise a lot.”
Band voxx-Club plays in front of 400 guests
This also applied to the concert with the well-known band voxx-Club.
After corona-related relocations, around 400 guests celebrated in the Bürgersaal.
Thus, the cultural highlight of the festival year was not cost-covering.
The weather certainly cost some guests.
