.: The police have published further investigation details about the accident tragedy that occurred early Sunday morning (May 8) on the A3 at Frankfurt Airport.

Around 4:30 a.m., a VW van drove into an unsecured accident site.

According to the latest information, eleven people were injured, six of them seriously.

In addition, a 33-year-old first responder lost his life.

This was followed by a large-scale operation lasting hours on the freeway.

The fatal accident was preceded by a rear-end collision, as reported by the Frankfurt police.

When changing lanes, two cars collided, occupied by two men (20 and 44 years old) and a man and a woman (38 and 42 years old).

Both cars first crashed into the crash barrier and then came to a standstill in the middle of the A3 lane – one car was standing in the opposite direction of travel, the other was thrown forward a good 150 meters by the force of the impact.
