Ukraine war: role of secret services - CIA agents warn against public statements

Update from May 7, 9:20 p.m

.: Both British and American secret services openly deal with information in the Ukraine war.

The British secret service also repeatedly gives assessments of the situation of the Russian army.

Former US intelligence officers have told the

Guardian

advised her colleagues in the service to stop bragging about her contribution to Ukraine's military successes.

“My personal view is that it is unwise.

I am surprised at the level of official acknowledgment of the US Secret Service's role in the sinking of the Moscow and even more so in the assassination of the generals," said Paul Pillar, a former senior CIA official.

According to the report, the American press, citing unknown officials, recently reported on the significant involvement of the US secret service in the sinking of the Russian ship.

The big concern is that this kind of public acknowledgment of this full US role in the setbacks negotiated with the Russians could provoke Putin to escalate in a way he might not otherwise find necessary.

Ukraine War News: Sanctions allegedly make it more difficult for Moscow to replace military equipment

Update from May 7, 12:34 p.m .:

For example, at least one T-90M tank, one of Russia's most modern tanks, was destroyed in combat.

It will take considerable sums of money and time to restore the strength of the Russian troops after the war, sources in London said.

In addition, the current sanctions would make it more difficult to obtain replacements because they would limit Russia's access to important microelectronics.
