The polls closed in the second phase of the Lebanese parliamentary elections in more than 40 countries in the world.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the total number of voters in Europe amounted to 39,376 voters, or 56.15 percent, and in Africa, 8,898 voters, or 50.89 percent, while the total number of voters in North America was 5556 voters, or 10.02 percent, and in Latin America, 540 voters, or 9.67 percent.
The Lebanese expatriates voted earlier today in more than 40 countries as part of the elections to choose members of the House of Representatives.
103 electoral lists comprising 718 candidates distributed over 15 electoral districts are competing in the elections to select 128 deputies in the Lebanese Parliament.
