Ukraine asked Doctors Without Borders (MSF) on Saturday to organize a mission to evacuate and treat the soldiers entrenched in the Azovstal steelworks in Mariupol, in a press release released a few hours after the announcement of the evacuation of civilians.
The defenders of the huge industrial site "have been for 72 days in a row, under the incessant bombardments and attacks of the Russian army" and by "lack of medicine, water and food, the wounded soldiers are dying of gangrene and sepsis," the ministry said.

The city of Tsyrkuny taken over by Ukraine
Ukraine has regained control of the town of Tsyrkuny, about 20 km northeast of Kharkiv, a military spokesman said on Saturday, in a video posted on YouTube.
“As a result of the offensive by units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, [the] Russian enemy lost control of the settlement of Tsyrkuny,” he said.

Two children found dead in Pryvillya
Two boys, aged 11 and 14, were found dead in a yard after Russian forces shelled a residential area in Pryvillya, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Haidai, said on Telegram on Saturday.
A woman and two girls were seriously injured after shrapnel flew into houses, he said, warning there could be more casualties.

Saturday was mainly marked by the successful evacuation of women, children and the elderly from the steel plant in Azovstal, near Mariupol.
