Drunk 23-year-old builds serious accident

Under the influence of alcohol, a 23-year-old caused an accident in Unterbiberg on Friday.
A 27-year-old was injured so badly that he had to be hospitalized.
Unterbiberg
– As reported by the police, the man from the Munich district was driving north in his Audi on Universitätsstrasse shortly before midnight.
He wanted to leave the priority road and continue straight ahead on Universitätsstrasse.
However, he took the right of way from a 27-year-old Lexus driver.
There was a collision.
According to the police report, the Audi crashed head-on into the side of the Lexus.
The Lexus driver was injured.
Witnesses alerted the emergency call, whereupon two patrols from the Ottobrunn Police Inspectorate and emergency services were sent to the scene of the accident.
The 27-year-old was taken to a hospital by paramedics for further treatment.
Complaint about negligent bodily harm
According to the press report, the person who caused the accident gave the officials an impression of being drunk.
A breath alcohol test confirmed the suspicion.
The 23-year-old then had to have his blood drawn.
His driver's license was confiscated.
The 23-year-old now has to answer criminally for endangering road traffic as a result of alcohol and negligent bodily harm.
Both vehicles were no longer drivable after the accident and had to be towed away.
The police estimate that there was damage of more than 20,000 euros.
The Unterbiberg volunteer fire brigade was also on duty to clean up leaking operating materials.
