Hamburg's second mayor, Katharina Fegebank, sees the Greens in Schleswig-Holstein continuing to form a coalition with the CDU.
Good governance pays off, said the Greens politician on Sunday.
"This now gives rise to a clear mandate for a progressive government and the election winners, the CDU and the Greens."
Kiel/Hamburg - According to the first projection, the Greens can count on 17.2 to 19.3 percent of the votes, the CDU of Prime Minister Daniel Günther comes to 41.3 to 42.8 percent.
A result on which Fegebank expressly congratulated Günther.
"Chapeau for this election victory." dpa
