Green Party leader: "Standing ready to form a government"

After the first forecasts for the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein, the Green party leader Ricarda Lang emphasized the willingness of the Greens to assume government responsibility there again.
"Of course we are now available to form a government," said Lang in the evening on ZDF.
There are "several election winners" in Schleswig-Holstein, said Lang.
Berlin – The Greens were part of it alongside the CDU.
CDU Prime Minister Daniel Günther is the "clear election winner" and will therefore decide on a future government constellation.
"The ball is in Daniel Günther's hands."
According to the forecasts of ARD and ZDF, the Christian Democrats of the incumbent Prime Minister Günther were well ahead of the SPD and Greens and were able to improve significantly in the election on Sunday compared to 2017.
The Christian Democrats got between 41 and 43 percent of the votes (2017: 32.0).
Your previous coalition partners, the Greens (2017: 12.9) and FDP (2017: 11.5) achieved 17 to 19.5 percent and 7 percent respectively.

She was "damn proud" of her party's performance, Lang said.
The cooperation between the Greens and the CDU has also proven itself in Schleswig-Holstein, she emphasized.
