Since 2003, the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra has been reaping successes inside and outside the country, which is behind the maestro Misak Baghboudrian, in advance with the elite Syrian academic musicians, dozens of evenings and concerts, and the most important Western and Arab classical works.

Baghboudrian, who will lead the Syrian symphony in the celebration of the 18th anniversary of Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts, which will be held today, made his way in the world of music since he was a gifted child, as he showed an exceptional inclination for music, so his family enrolled him in the Arab Institute of Music “Salhi Al-Wadi now” when he was seven years old, where he studied the rhythmic and lyrical solfege at the hands of The late musician Khader Junaid played the piano by Cynthia Everett El Wadi, and after graduating, he performed in a number of concerts.

When the Higher Institute of Music opened its doors in 1990, he continued his studies there, and participated in important workshops with the expert professors Françoise Tina and Svetlana Khavasartian, and joined the department for studying the art of conducting orchestras.

His late maestro teacher Salhi Al-Wadi felt unique abilities in him, so he led under his supervision, at the age of twenty, at the end of 1994, the symphonic troupe for the opening of Rossini’s Barber of Seville opera, to be followed by other works in concerts and several occasions held in the Conference Palace.

Upon graduating from the Higher Institute in 1995, specializing in piano and conducting an orchestra, he was chosen as a teacher at the institute to teach orchestral distribution, an assistant to the conductor of the symphony, a piano teacher, and a leader of the children's orchestra at the Arab Institute and accompanist for the children's choir. Namely, Dido and Aeneas, in particular, train female singers and singers to perform their roles.

At the beginning of 1997, Salhi Al-Wadi nominated him to continue his studies in the art of conducting orchestras, when the Ministry of Culture sent him to Italy to take composition and conduct lessons at the Florence Institute. And the Romanian Dorel Bashko and the American Carl St. Clair.

Because of his superiority in his theoretical and scientific studies, the Florence Institute appointed him principal conductor of the “Amadeus” Symphony Orchestra, and he led it in a number of successful concerts in Tuscany. He also led several orchestras in Italy, Romania and Bulgaria.

In 2002, after the valley was completely paralyzed, he assumed the leadership of the symphony troupe to follow up on the achievements of his teacher. In turn, he revived a large number of concerts in Syria and many Arab and foreign countries.

When Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts opened in 2004 in the presence of President Bashar al-Assad and the King of Malaysia, Baghbudrian led the Syrian Symphony at the opening ceremony, where the troupe performed works by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky and a dance show entitled Zenobia, Queen of Palmyra.

The symphonic troupe with Baghboudrian achieved many successes, performing the opening and closing ceremonies of Damascus, the capital of Arab culture, Tlemcen, the capital of Islamic culture, and the Oran Arab Film Festival. .

Maestro Baghpudarian has received decorations from Italy and Armenia and the State Incentive Award from the Ministry of Culture. He was also awarded the title of Honorary Conductor of the Key Orchestra of South Korea.
