Homs-Sana
The poets participating in the meeting hosted by Sami Al-Droubi Hall in the Cultural Center in Homs dedicated their poems of martyrdom and martyrs who rose during the terrorist war waged against Syria.
The festival, which was organized by the Qardaha Cultural Forum and entitled “The Lights of Light,” was attended by ten poets from the Qardaha Cultural Forum who gathered to present a message of love and gratitude to the city of Homs, which suffered and gave a lot to confront terrorism.
The festival was inaugurated by the poet Trad Taha from Hama with a poem entitled “He who kisses the dirt” that tells about the martyr and the homeland in a sentimental style that is close to the recipient.
In turn, the poet Nidaa Hussein presented a poem entitled "Before a surgeon", in which she used the symbolic method to describe the martyr, who preserved the country with his valiant heart, pride, and fatherhood.
The poet Ghassan Dalloul from Homs had a poem entitled “The sacrifice of martyrdom,” in which he spoke about the conspiracy that our country was exposed to and how thousands of martyrs sacrificed their lives to tread for us the path of victory and the path of safety.
The son of the city of Aleppo, the poet Abdel Hamid Melhem, participated in a patriotic poem entitled “In the Love of Aleppo,” which tells about the poet’s relationship with his city and his love for it.
In his vertical poem entitled “She is the daughter of Ibrahim,” the poet Hussein Muhammad from the countryside of Aleppo spoke about the colors of the Syrian spectrum.
The poet Sarah Khair Bey from Lattakia recited a vertical poem “The Mass of Loyalty” that tells about the martyrs of Homs and their epics of honor and heroism.
Poet Mona Khaddour presented a sentimental poem entitled “Blossom of Championship,” in which she sang with the courage of the martyr and his preservation of the dignity of the homeland and the souls of its children.
In his poem entitled “In the Shrine of the Martyr,” the poet Samer Al-Khatib described the greatness and stature of the martyr, stressing that all words stand helpless in the face of this sacrifice and pure blood.
The poet Lina Shaheen had a patriotic poem entitled “Peace of God, my country,” describing how we embraced the light of hope and the future thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the steadfastness of the people.
