Raz also referred to the possibility that Israel would launch an operation in Gaza and said that he thought that all of Israel's operations in the Gaza Strip had not proven themselves.

He added that in his opinion there is no justification for going to war in Gaza that will bring casualties on both sides.

"We have red lines and the coalition knows them. Construction on E1 is a red line, construction on Atarot is a red line, evacuation of Khan al-Ahmar is a red line, evacuation of 918 is a red line."

Regarding the possibility of elections and cooperation with the Labor Party, Raz explained that he is optimistic and does not think that these will take place in the coming months.

"I think there should be a much larger left-wing bloc, which includes Labor, Meretz and Arab elements. This is in my eyes the ideal and this is what will excite the left-wing public in Israel, both Jews and Arabs."
