A new opinion poll on the elections that Turkey will witness next year revealed that the popularity of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is witnessing a noticeable decline.
The Turkish newspaper, Zaman, reported that the poll showed that Erdogan's support decreased significantly compared to the rest of the candidates, as the support of Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavas and Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu increased.
The President of the Republican People's Party, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, received 43.1 percent of the voter support, while Erdogan received 33.2 percent.
Support for the Republican People's Party rose to 30.5 percent, while the Justice and Development Party won 29.5 percent of the respondents' support, with the Good Party 12.6 percent, the HDP 9.9 percent, and the Nationalist Movement Party 5.7 percent. Percent and the Democratic and Progress Party 4.7 percent.
