Palestinian prisoner Khalil Awawda continues his hunger strike for the 67th day to denounce the continuous violations of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners, amid fears that he will die due to the deterioration of his health.
According to Wafa Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners Club warned that Awadeh, 40, has entered a dangerous stage in his continuous hunger strike, especially in light of the weakness of breathing and movement and the sharp drop in weight as a result of the violations practiced by the occupation authorities to undermine the prisoners and their steadfastness.
For its part, the Al-Awawda family called on the human rights organizations and institutions to urgently intervene to save the life of their captive son Khalil, who is fighting death in the occupation prisons in order to gain his freedom.
The occupation authorities continue to hold the prisoner Awawda, who has been detained since December 2021, in a solitary cell in Ofer Detention Center, amid a serious deterioration in his health.
