Russian President Vladimir Putin is apparently preparing for a nuclear war.

What's up with his doomsday plane?

Moscow – War has been raging in Europe since the escalation in the Ukraine conflict.

Russia keeps toying with the fear of a nuclear catastrophe.

Using nuclear weapons in the Ukraine war would provoke a third world war.

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the Russian media did not want to rule out such a scenario.

In order to demonstrate that these are not just empty threats, Russian ruler Vladimir Putin is leaving nothing to chance.

The so-called "doomsday plane" was sighted over Moscow.

In the event of a nuclear war, Putin could rule from the air.

The "doomsday plane" was already circling over Moscow on April 27 for test purposes, as Russia confirmed.

The Ilyushin Il-80 "doomsday plane" was escorted by two MiG-29 fighter jets.

It is said to have been a test flight for the military parade on May 9th.

Putin could use the “doomsday plane” in the event of a disaster.

The flying command post is designed for use in the event of a nuclear war, should the command centers on the ground no longer function.

Thus, Putin could continue to issue military orders for nuclear attacks.

The plane, which is said to have no windows apart from the cockpit, can even be refueled in the air.

In nuclear war: USA mobilizes its own “doomsday plane” for use

Incidentally, the USA also has a “doomsday plane” in its ranks.

The Air Force's Boeing 747 E4-B "Nightwatch" took off in March.

US President Biden could thus leave his official residence in Washington and also govern from the air.

According to British newspaper

The Mirror

, the plane was refueled shortly after the Il-80 was sighted.

The spectacle took place in the skies over Southern California.

A KC-46 Pegasus tanker from the Nebraska Air Force Base filled the "Nightwatch" from the air.

Edwards Air Force Base shared photos of the action on Twitter on April 29.

Russia's 'doomsday plane' warns West on military parade

Russia wanted to present its “doomsday plane” at its military parade, Victory Day on May 9th.

What is intended to reassure its own population that the nuclear power protects their security is intended to arouse fear and terror in the West.

At an air show, fighter jets, long-range bombers and the Ilyushin Il-80, known as the “doomsday plane”, are to take off.

However, the aircraft is said to be obsolete and will be replaced by an Ilyushin Il-96-400M in the future.
