Schwesig wants to continue working well with Günther

Mecklenburg-West Pomerania's Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD) will continue to rely on good cooperation with Daniel Günther (CDU) after his election victory in neighboring Schleswig-Holstein.
"We have already worked well together across party and national borders and I am convinced that this will continue to be the case," Schwesig said on Sunday evening.
Kiel/Schwerin – Günther had been convincingly confirmed in office as head of government.
At the same time, she expressed her respect for the SPD in Schleswig-Holstein and their top candidate Thomas Losse-Müller for a committed election campaign.
