SPD top candidate Losse-Müller disappointed with performance

SPD top candidate Thomas Losse-Müller has expressed disappointment with his party's performance in the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein.
"The party and I myself, we are all very, very disappointed.
We fought hard to make it different," said Losse-Müller on Sunday evening.
The campaign of the SPD was very good.
"But in the end we didn't manage to get through with the issues."
Kiel - The people were with their worries and thoughts about the war in Ukraine.
According to initial projections, the SPD (2017: 27.3) won only 15.6 to 15.7 percent, putting it in third place after the CDU and the Greens.

Losse-Müller announced that he would now promote his party's ideas and concepts in the opposition.
The SPD will show that "keep it up" is not an alternative for Schleswig-Holstein.
"And I'm happy that I can be a really strong voice in it and work on it with all my strength." He will "of course" continue.
"I am now looking forward to five years of opposition work." dpa
