Brock Ryan's future is suddenly shaken after she took part in a deadly trend that has already claimed the lives of hundreds of teenagers in Australia • Her mother embarked on a warning campaign against the dangers of "Crumming": "I think of her every time I wake up"

"Every day has become a nightmare":

16-year-old Brock Ryan from Australia was found dead in the bedroom, after apparently inhaling deodorant spray at her home and suffocating to death.

Her mother, from Broken Hill, New South Wales, said she found her body on the floor of her bedroom while still holding the spray.

Brock, who was found dead on February 3, left her family and friends stunned.

According to reports, the girl has experienced anxiety attacks and even significant deterioration in her mental state in recent years following the outbreak of the corona virus.

"I think about her every time I wake up, and even when I go to bed - every day becomes a nightmare," Anne Ryan painfully shared in a conversation with the Sydney Morning Herald.

Among other things, she shared that "Brock was a very talented athlete and one of the best football players in her school."

Since the tragic incident, her mother has shared the story in order to warn more parents.

The autopsy findings have not yet been released, but Brock's family members and other experts believe she died as a result of inhaling the gas from her deodorant spray - or "chroming" as it is called around the world.

Brock's body was also found bruised, suggesting she had a heart attack.

At the same time, Dr. Ingrid Burling, a clinical toxicologist, reported that the use of inhalants doubled between 2017 and 2020. She said there was an increase in child and adolescent mortality as a result of gas inhalation of various sprays - with 107 deaths in 2020 alone.

Following the tragic death of Brooke Ryan, supermarkets and pharmacies across Australia began locking in the deodorant sprays in an attempt to prevent children and teens from getting them.
