The elected Parisian Gérard Loureiro died: "He was bright and sunny"

He passed away early Sunday morning after a two-year battle with cancer.

Gérard Loureiro, LR adviser to the 19th arrondissement of Paris, entered politics with the Republicans in 2020, a loyal lieutenant in Rachida Dati's campaign.

Brahim Asloum's boxing trainer in the early 2000s, who became his friend, Gérard Loureiro was 49 years old and had many friends in the world of sport and among the Republicans.

Like many of his relatives, Rachida Dati had time to say goodbye to him this Saturday.

The mayor (LR) of the 7th greets with emotion a man "totally disinterested, who did not play in the court of politics and who was obsessed that you are always well".

“We had met in the 7th where he lived, we became very good friends, it was with me that he entered politics.

He campaigned with me for the municipal elections of 2020. He worked out of passion, for young people and integration.
