The two were apprehended and arrested without resistance and while alive, having been located while hiding in a bush in a forest near the city a few minutes drive from the scene of the attack.

When questioned, one of the terrorists replied: "I carried out an attack, I do not know what happened there, they prepared a man."

An ax was also found which the terrorists used in the attack.

During the scans, the GSS coordinator with his security guard identified a suspicious sign near a tree and very quickly directed suspicious movement inside a nearby bush. In the two terrorists, they hid all the time in the forest near Elad. Last night, the wife of the murdered driver, Nofar Ben Yiftach, asked that the attacks against her husband, Oren, be stopped.

"People of Israel, have mercy on us in our difficult time," she wrote.

"How evil can there be when the finger is light on the keyboard. Please let us mourn on the days of Shiva without engaging in defense against vicious attacks."

Ben Yiftach also added in the post the official response of the family, which read: "We are shocked by the discourse on social networks and in the media in the heinous attempt to link our beloved son Oren to the criminal attack he himself is a victim of. "For a taxi like this, he is not required to check work or residence permits. This is in contrast to a contractor who employs workers."

"Oren drove a rabbi to a Torah lesson and there is no dispute about that. According to the media, at the end of this trip he may have been asked to drive workers to renovate a synagogue and did so only without knowing of course that it was his death march.
