A powerful anticyclone from the Azores in northern Europe will give France this Monday sunny weather over most of the territory.
The mercury will rise to 25°C on average in the afternoon in many areas with a summer feeling of 30°C in full sun.
Despite this favorable weather, a few clouds in the mountains could still bring thunderstorms between the Pyrenees and the Alps, according to
La Chaîne Météo*
.

The weather in your area
A beautiful day is shaping
up over three quarters of the country
, fully summery and ideal for walks, outdoor activities and leisure, with just a few cumulus clouds and a cloudy sky near the English Channel in the afternoon.
Temperatures will be 8 to 18°C in the morning, from
Picardy to Roussillon
, and will rise from 23 to 28°C in the afternoon, with a very hot feeling in full sun, around 30° !
Sunglasses and hats will therefore be essential to avoid the first heatstroke of the year, as well as good hydration.
In southern Aquitaine
, a few patches of gray weather and low clouds will give way to very fine summer weather, with 27 to 29°C in the afternoon.
On the
Pyrenees
, the heights of the
Massif Central,
the
Alps
, the
Jura
and the
Corsican relief
, cumulus clouds will develop in the second part of the day, after good weather in the morning.
These big clouds could bring a small shower, even a storm on the relief of the Var and the Alpes-Maritimes.
Then the weather will become dry again from the middle of the evening.
