This summer's big game announcement event is back this year as well
After the E3 conference was canceled this year, we get the Summer Games Fest on the spot which will take place on June 9 and will introduce us to the big games of the companies and distributors in the industry

After we received last month that the E3 conference for 2022 (considered one of the biggest annual gaming events in the world) will be finally and completely canceled, we could at least take comfort in the fact that the Summer Games Fest hosted by Jeff Kylie will make a comeback and return to us this year, and now we have an exact date : So we reserved the 9th of June at 21:00 (Israel time).

Already at the opening event on June 9, players will be able to watch new trailers and announcements of new games from a variety of keys and distributors in the industry: 2K, Activision-Blizzard, Capcom, EA, Gearbox, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Riot and many more.
Two days later, Microsoft will host a peek at Bethesda Games and its exclusive keys to all upcoming titles for Xbox consoles and the Game Pass service, including the PC.
The trailer of the event presented us with games that players would love to get more updates about, like, Forspoken, Gotham Knights, Gollum, and the new Ninja Turtles arcade style game, alongside games that have already been released like Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West.
From Bethesda's side the players expect to see are Starfield - Bethesda's next big game described as "Fallout in Space", or Redfall - a single-player game with co-op elements from Arkane and will set the players at war with bloodthirsty vampires, or even Get initial exposure to The Elder Scroll 6 - which players have been waiting for for years.

The Summer Games Fest event first began in 2020 when the corona plague broke into our lives and the annual E3 and Gamescom events were physically canceled and switched to a network broadcast format, and organized by the industry's top celebrity, Jeff Kylie.
Although an event like Summer Games Fest seems to be replacing events like E3 or Gamescom that have gone digital in the last two years, quite a few companies and distributors realized that they should not share the spotlight at E3 and other gaming events, and decided to hold their own broadcasts during the year, like Sony with State of Play or Nintendo events with its Direct events.
EA has also held EA PLAY LIVE next to E3 to date since 2016 canceled its event this year and it looks like it intends to showcase some of its games during the Summer Games Fest.
