Two Palestinians were killed this evening by the Israeli occupation bullets in occupied Jerusalem and Tulkarm in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the occupation forces directly shot Mahmoud Sami Khalil, 27, as he was passing through one of its checkpoints south of Tulkarm, which led to his death.

The ministry confirmed that the 17-year-old Mutassim Atallah was martyred by the occupation bullets east of Bethlehem, to be the second martyr on this day.

In turn, the Palestinian Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces shot and wounded a young man in the Bab Al-Amoud area before arresting him, and assaulted all those in the vicinity of Al-Bab in occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh renewed his call for immediate international action to protect the Palestinian people from the daily crimes of the Israeli occupation, explaining that these horrific crimes require urgent intervention by the international community to stop the organized terrorism practiced by the occupation against the Palestinian people.

Shtayyeh stressed that the practices and crimes of the occupation will not deter the Palestinian people from their steadfastness and resistance until the liberation of their land and the establishment of their independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

In turn, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the brutal crimes of the Israeli occupation and its settlers against the Palestinians, the latest of which was today the martyrdom of two Palestinians in the West Bank, considering that it comes within the framework of an open war on the Palestinian presence amid international silence that encouraged them to persist in violating the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that the silence of the international community on these crimes, which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity in accordance with international humanitarian law, and the failure to hold the perpetrators accountable encourages the occupation to perpetuate them.
