Early on Saturday morning at around 2 a.m., the Mindelheim firefighters raised the alarm: a barn had caught fire on Landsberger Straße between Mindelheim and Türkheim.
Although the fire brigade was quickly on the spot, the barn was almost completely destroyed in the fire.
According to the police, the damage to property at the Feldstadel amounts to around 10,000 euros.
The cause of the fire is still unclear at this time.
The Mindelheim Police Inspectorate and the Memmingen Criminal Investigation Service have already carried out initial investigations on site.
The specialist commissariat of the Kripo Memmingen should now clarify the cause of the fire.
Are there witnesses?
The investigators are also hoping for witnesses and are asking the population to get in touch if anyone has made observations in connection with the fire.

A total of 25 members of the Mindelheim volunteer fire brigade were involved in the operation.
A firefighter who was protecting traffic was slightly injured in a traffic accident on Landsberger Strasse.
He therefore had to be treated in the Mindelheim hospital.
