The US Marshals Service released images of the man they believe to be inmate Casey White, accused of murder and who escaped with jailer Vicky White more than a week ago, when he was caught on camera. surveillance at a car wash in Evansville, Indiana.

This is the first time since the pair disappeared on April 29 from an Alabama prison that Casey White has allegedly been seen.

Vicky White did not appear in the photos.

The US Marshals Service released images of what they believe to be fugitive Casey White at an Indiana car wash.

Investigators were notified late Sunday that a 2006 Ford F-150 had been discovered at a car wash in Evansville, about 75 miles north of Williamson County, Tennessee, where the Ford Edge was found abandoned. 2007 that the couple used.

The agency is now in Indiana "following up a lead after a vehicle believed to have been used by the two Alabama fugitives was found abandoned in the area," the agency said.

The US Marshals Service said it believes the person in the photo is Casey White.

New charges against Vicky White

Authorities filed new charges Monday afternoon against Alabama corrections officer Vicky White in connection with Casey White's escape, the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department announced.

The new charges stem from her allegedly using an alias to purchase the getaway vehicle, a 2007 Ford Edge, authorities said.

The court order shows that Vicky White is facing charges of forgery and identity theft.

Vicky White, who was Lauderdale County's deputy director of corrections, broke Casey White out of the county jail on April 29, saying she was taking him in for a mental health evaluation, which authorities later learned had never been scheduled. .

She then said that she was going to seek medical attention after leaving the inmate because she was not feeling well.

The fact that Vicky White is using an alias could complicate the search for the two, Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton warned.

"If she was using her own identity, it would be pretty easy for us to find her," he told CNN.

"We know that she used a fake ID to buy a car here locally."

“He had two fake IDs that we know of.

And I wouldn't be surprised if he had new or additional ones now," the sheriff said.

Surveillance videos reveal new details of how the jailbreak was planned

Surveillance videos showing Vicky White before fleeing with Casey White show the level of preparation that went into the escape, the sheriff said.

Investigators found footage of Vicky White shopping for men's clothing at a department store and an "adult store," Singleton said.

She added that she "obviously had a change of clothes" for the inmate, Casey White, who is facing murder charges.

"This tells us that it was very well planned and calculated," Singleton told CNN's Bianna Golodryga on Monday.

"Obviously, she planned this escape very well, perfectly," the official insisted.

Hours earlier, investigators released video of Vicky White at a Quality Inn in Florence, where she stayed the night before the escape, more than a week ago.

Which direction Vicky White and Casey White went

The patrol car that the jailer and the inmate took from the prison was found abandoned in the parking lot of a shopping center.

Inside, Vicky White's jail keys, radio and handcuffs were found.

Authorities believe the couple left the parking lot in a different vehicle: the 2007 Ford SUV that Vicky White located in the parking lot the night before.

The vehicle was located on May 6 in Tennessee.

The van had been abandoned in a forest without any identifying information the same day the pair escaped, indicating they drove about two hours north from the Florence, Alabama, jail to Williamson County, Tennessee.

"Now we know where the car is, we know which way they went," the sheriff said.

"We're trying to canvass the area for any witnesses, also trying to investigate, see if there were any stolen vehicles reported in that area during that time."

Authorities believe the vehicle may have had mechanical problems that caused it to make an abrupt stop in the area.

Vicky White, 56, and Casey White, 38, who are not related, have known each other since at least 2020 and had developed a romantic relationship, the sheriff previously told CNN.

Prior to her disappearance, Vicky White had announced her plans to retire and had sold her home for well below market value.

He now has an active warrant for his arrest for allegedly intentionally allowing or facilitating escape.

She is no longer an employee of the sheriff's office, the office said, adding that although Friday was her last day of work, her retirement papers were never finalized.

Investigators believe Vicky White had a large amount of money when the couple disappeared, Singleton said Friday, adding that authorities are working to find out more details.

Authorities share photos and increase rewards

The pair should be considered dangerous and may be armed with weapons including an AR-15 rifle, handguns and a shotgun, the US Marshals Service said.

The agency said Casey White threatened his ex-girlfriend and her sister in 2015, stating that if he ever came out "he would kill them and he wanted the police to kill him."

Authorities have warned "potential targets" of the inmate and have taken steps to protect them, the Marshals Service said.

Investigators are also concerned that Casey White is not taking the medication to "control temper and that sort of thing," Singleton said Monday.

"He has some issues that he's on medication for, and when he's not on medication, I'm told he can be extremely violent," Singleton said.

The service also released several photos of Casey White and her tattoos, as well as rendered images of what Vicky White, who was blonde when she disappeared, would have looked like with shorter, darker hair.

The agency is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the inmate and up to $5,000 for that of the agent.

On Friday, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey announced additional rewards of $5,000 each for information leading to the capture of the fugitives.
