In the Isar valley, officers from the Grünwald police inspection stopped two heavily intoxicated road users from driving on at the weekend.
Baierbrunn/Grünwald
– Officers from the Grünwald Police Inspectorate prevented two heavily intoxicated road users from driving on at the weekend.
On Saturday night, a patrol car crew in Baierbrunn noticed a cyclist because of his unsafe driving style.
The 38-year-old from the southern district of Munich curved along Wolfratshauser Strasse at around 3:10 a.m.
The police stopped the cyclist and ordered a breath alcohol test - which resulted in a criminally relevant value of 1.82 per mille.
The bike was then locked and the 38-year-old was taken to have blood drawn.
The second case of drunk driving occurred on Sunday at 4.50 a.m. on Südliche Münchner Strasse in Grünwald.
A woman (39) from the district of Bad Tölz/Wolfratshausen was driving her Dacia and had a blood alcohol test value of 1.32 per mille.
Here, too, the vehicle was locked at the control point and blood was taken.
