This year, in contrast to previous years and subject to the interim conclusions of the Commission of Inquiry into the disaster that occurred last year, a project manager and producer were appointed for the celebration, and they bear responsibility for the early preparation, the course of the celebration and the order of forces on the mountain.

The arrival of about 150,000 people is expected.
Some of the revelers claim that those who come to Meron this year will probably have a hard time getting to know the mountain - in recent weeks, due to strict safety rules, dilapidated infrastructure, tents, huts and unsafe buildings were destroyed - including a bear bridge, which killed 45 people last year. Either way, unlike previous years you will be allowed to be on the mountain of 16,000 people at a time, and they will change every four hours.
