The Youth Center of the European Institute for Cooperation and Development in As-Suwayda, in cooperation with the Al-Arabi Club and the Directorate of Education, organized the “Yalla Riyada” initiative with the aim of supporting the rehabilitation of basketball players.
The coordinator of the Youth Center at the European Institute for Cooperation and Development in As-Suwayda, Kinan Khaddaj, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the initiative that was launched on the occasion of the International Sports Day last month and concluded today included the rehabilitation of a basketball court and a hall for sports activities in the Martyr Qusay Fahd School in the city of As-Suwayda, with the training of teams from Four primary schools over a month under the supervision of coaches from Al Arabi Club.
Khaddaj pointed to the sustainability of the initiative by continuing to train the game of basketball in the summer, stressing its importance to support the sports movement and discover talents, support and refine them to supply sports clubs.
The Youth Center of the European Institute for Cooperation and Development in As-Suwayda organizes many initiatives in various fields, including sports.
