The instrumentalist Cosimo Prontera, with the participation of the Viola d'Amore troupe from Italy, to perform on the stage of the Opera.
The program of the concert, which was also attended by Syrian musicians of the masterpieces of the pioneers of the Baroque era, came from the composers Vivaldi, Heidel and Corelli. The evening program included the playing of three concertos for each of these composers.
The concert was distinguished by playing the concerto composed by German George Friedrich Handel, with the participation of the pipe organ, which is one of the treasures of Dar al-Assad.
It is noteworthy that Cosimo Prontera is an Italian instrumentalist and musician who specializes in pipe organ and harpsichord. He has specialized music books and many radio recordings of plays from ancient music. The Viola d'Amore is specialized in baroque music, as it has organized many concerts in Italy and Western cities.
