ARD viewers experienced a little surprise on Tuesday evening.

Part of the TV program has been canceled without prior notice from the broadcaster.

After several weeks of rather cloudy and often wet and cold weather conditions, the temperatures in many regions are climbing again.

On Tuesday, the warm rays of sunshine could be enjoyed in many places.

How's the weather going now?

Is summer staying - or is it saying goodbye again?

Many people certainly wanted to find out that on Tuesday evening on the ARD program “Wetter vor Acht”.

However, viewers were in for a surprise.

ARD program suddenly dropped: Twitter users worried and amazed

ARD could not help its viewers with weather forecasts in the evening - just before the news.

After "Knowledge before eight - Nature" simply dropped "Weather before eight" with Claudia Kleinert.

Instead, landscape and animal images were presented to the viewers in slide show mode.

Calm music played in the background.

"Actually, the 'weather before eight' should follow, but beautiful winter pictures do it too," commented a Twitter user on the incident.

"Was it simply impossible to predict the 'weather before eight'?" Another user asked ironically.

A viewer, on the other hand, apparently had nothing against the unannounced change.

He doesn't know the reason for the cancellation of the show, but he liked the pictures in combination with the music.

"Please always like this.

Very nice pictures with a pleasant background music.

Finally something to slow down and relax.

Not so clocked," he wrote.

"Very unusual," apparently worried another Twitter user.

"I hope nothing bad happened," he added.

What is actually behind the unexpected failure of the TV show initially remained unknown.

However, the subsequent program continued without change.

The fact that the TV program is changed due to current events is in itself nothing unusual.

For example, a show was completely canceled during prime time in January.

The fact that a program is only replaced by a kind of slide show can certainly be described as unusual.
