Over the weekend, new human remains were found in Lake Mead, Nevada.
The find came days after a decomposed body was found in a metal barrel on the lake's shrinking shoreline.
A witness reported seeing human skeletal remains in Callville Bay within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area at 2:00 p.m. local time on Saturday, the National Park Service said in a statement.

Park rangers responded and established a perimeter to recover the remains.
The Clark County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
On May 1, other remains were found that were in a barrel, and that were exposed by the drop in water levels in the lake.
That person was believed to have been killed between the mid-1970s and early 1980s based on their clothing and footwear, Las Vegas police said in a statement.

"We believe this to be a homicide from a gunshot wound," Lt. Ray Spencer said.
That victim has not yet been identified and the Clark County Medical Examiner is conducting tests to determine the cause of death.

Water levels in Lake Mead, the nation's largest reservoir, have reached record lows;
last month they went down to an intake valve that it began supplying to Nevada customers in 1971.
Lake Mead and Lake Powell, located upriver, are the largest artificial reservoirs in the United States and are part of a system that provides water to more than 40 million people, in addition to supplying agriculture and industry in states such as Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and across the southern border in Mexico, according to The Associated Press.
