From about 7:10 today, if residents can present a negative test result via SMS to prove their acceptance of the compulsory test, they can leave via the designated exit after providing their personal information to the prescribed officer.
The government reiterated that it will strictly enforce the law.
Any person who fails to produce a text message of the test results to prove that the compulsory test is a violation of the compulsory test announcement will be liable to a fixed fine of $10,000 and will receive a compulsory test order requiring the person to undergo a test within a specified period.
Failure to comply with a mandatory testing order or a restraining and testing declaration commits an offence and is punishable by a fine at level 5 ($50,000) and imprisonment for six months.
