First rehearsal at the ESC 2022: blunders and missed assignments - musical representatives of Ukraine let the stage shine in yellow and blue

The first rehearsal from the first semi-final is done.

This is where spectators will be seated tonight for the first jury semi-final, which will decide 50% of who will make it into the final.

The hall has 12,350 seats, with many seats being lost due to the green room in the middle of the hall.

Depending on the show, tickets cost between 20 and 350 euros.

The singers Laura Pausini and Mika form the moderation trio of this year's song contest with radio presenter Alessandro Cattelan.

The trio of hosts had the biggest problems at today's rehearsal with various text problems and missed missions.

ESC 2022: The jury for Germany is set

The ESC jury for Germany is now officially set!

Schlager singer Michelle and singer Max Giesinger will be awarded the German points at the "Eurovision Song Contest" together with the musicians Felicia Lu and Tokunbo, as well as the music editor Christian Brost.

This was announced by the NDR.

Half of the juries are responsible for awarding points, the other half comes from the audience via televoting.

The German jury result will be announced on Saturday in the live show by moderator Barbara Schöneberger.

Michelle herself was an artist at the ESC a good 20 years ago.

In 2001 she was eighth with the song "Who Love Lives".

"The ESC connects me with one of the most exciting performances I've ever had," she explained to the NDR - she learned a lot back then.
