A worker from the Freising district (23) was fatally injured on Monday in the Schwandorf district by falling steel beams.

A worker from the district of Freising (23) was fatally injured on Monday in eastern Bavaria's Unterkoeblitz (district of Schwandorf) by falling steel beams.
The accident occurred while working on the premises of a power grid operator, as the police in Regensburg explained.
Accordingly, two workers loaded steel beams for the construction of power poles.
When trying to move the steel girders, a package slipped and fell on the 23-year-old.
According to the police, he suffered serious injuries and died later in the afternoon.
The competent public prosecutor turned on an expert, who should now clarify the exact course of the accident.
The police are also investigating.
