The Socialist Party unveiled Tuesday evening May 10 a first wave of 56 candidates invested within the framework of the New popular ecological and social union (Nupes), including its first secretary Olivier Faure.
In total, as part of the new alliance on the left bringing together LFI, EELV, PS and PCF for the June legislative elections, the PS will have 70 candidates invested.

In the first wave of names unveiled on Tuesday evening, is notably the first secretary of the PS, Olivier Faure, in the 11th district of Seine-et-Marne, and the patron saint of deputies, Valérie Rabault, in the 1st district of Tarn-et. -Garonne.
There are also about fifteen outgoing deputies, including Boris Vallaud (3rd constituency of Landes), Guillaume Garot (1st of Mayenne) or Dominique Potier (5th of Meurthe-et-Moselle), who nevertheless declared that he did not want not be invested in the name of Nupes.

Among the new investors, there are in particular the negotiator of the agreement with LFI Pierre Jouvet (4th from Drôme), Laurent Baumel (4th from Indre-et-Loire), the former deputy Jérôme Guedj (6th from Essonne ), or the deputy mayor of Paris, Olga Polski (11th in Paris).
