Offenbach/Munich – The start of the next week in May is already going well, at least in terms of the weather.
According to the German Weather Service (DWD), high "Wolf" will bring a lot of sunshine this week.
"Summer is making its first attempt in Germany," predicts DWD meteorologist Lars Kirchhübel.
The weather expert expects up to 30 degrees on Wednesday.
According to the current weather forecast, the first mild nights are also on the horizon - in many places the values remain in the double digits.

Locally, the DWD warns of heavy rain (20 liters per square meter) in a short time and small-grain hail.

High veil clouds or thick clouds dampen the power of the sun.

The isolated showers would only be “a drop in the bucket,” the weather expert estimates.
He fears an explosive weather situation.
Spring 2022 would have been far too dry so far.
"If the summer were also too dry, that would really be the 'worst case'".
