Photovoltaic panels: the first urban solar farm will see the light of day in Val-de-Marne

2022-05-10T04:24:31.490Z

As part of its urban solar farm program, Maisons-Alfort (Val-de-Marne) will deploy solar panels over the next ten years.

They took place for more than a year on the roofs of two schools in the city, discreetly, without being noticed at first sight.

These two photovoltaic panels installed on the Charles-Péguy and Berlioz schools, in Maisons-Alfort (Val-de-Marne), should be joined by around a hundred other solar panels in the coming years.

The objective: to create the first urban solar farm in France.

In more concrete terms, this means that solar panels will be installed on various public establishments in the city as well as on HLM housing.
