After preliminary investigation, the case was classified as "theft", which was followed up by the Yuen Long District Criminal Investigation Team.

Officers arrested two men and two women, aged between 25 and 48, suspected of being involved in the case in Yuen Long District on the same day.

Three of the arrested men and women have been temporarily charged with one count of "enterprise theft"; one arrested woman has been temporarily charged with one count of "theft". The case will be brought before the Tuen Mun Magistrates' Court on June 23 hall.
