The Ministry of Education circulated the health emergency plan during the general exams and specified the number of 15 to 20 students and two observers in each exam hall, to ensure proper spatial distancing and to avoid crowding when students enter and exit the exam center.
The Director of School Health at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Hatoon Al-Tawashi, said in a statement to SANA reporter that it was emphasized to avoid gatherings of students and their families near the exam center, noting that students were distributed to exam centers closest to their homes to help them reach without using transportation.
Al-Tawashi pointed out that all exam centers will be completely cleaned before the start of the exam, in addition to cleaning the surfaces in the exam center daily with extended chlorine “seats, doors, inserts, bathrooms, offices and tables” after the exam ends and workers leave the center, in addition to conducting thermal scanning and sterilizing hands for students, observers and administrators. Delegates and visitors upon entering the exam centers and obligating observers, administrators, delegates and visitors who are not vaccinated with the anti-Coronavirus vaccine to wear a muzzle throughout the exam period.
According to Al-Tawashi, the plan allowed students and students to enter a small water bottle and wear a mask during the exam, provided that this does not affect the proper conduct of the exam process, explaining that work is currently being done to fully equip emergency centers and health centers, secure emergency bags and necessary medicines, and coordinate with health directorates for the distribution of medical teams And securing equipped ambulances for emergency centers and health centers according to the available capabilities.
Al-Tawashi indicated that two psychological counselors will be assigned to each emergency center who will accompany the medical teams working during the exams to provide psychological support and deal with cases of exam anxiety among students and students during the exam period, explaining that in the event of a suspected case of infection with the Corona virus among students, observers or administrators working in General exams Infection will be confirmed by conducting a rapid test swab for the Corona virus in emergency centers before or after the end of the exam, and students with a confirmed case of the Corona virus will be required to take the rapid tests or the PCR test to wear a mask throughout the exam period.
