Carmen Geiss doesn't seem to have expected that at all: her husband Robert and the kids Shania and Davina planned a surprise party for their mother on the occasion of her 57th birthday.

An action that emotionally took Carmen quite a bit.

The TV star was surprised with a big party on the occasion of his 57th birthday.

On Instagram she has now published a video of the party.

But the event presented the wife of entrepreneur Robert Geiss with a great emotional challenge.

The Geissens love luxury, which becomes clear again and again in their RTL2 show "The Geissens – A Terrible Glamorous Family".

Carmen, Robert, Davina and Shania also give insights into their jet set lives on Instagram.

Things got pretty emotional recently.

Because Carmen Geiss (all information about the Geissens) celebrated her 57th birthday on May 5th and was surprised by her family, friends and acquaintances with a big party.

She doesn't seem to have known anything about it beforehand.

"What was that wonderful surprise party?

I'm so proud of my family for organizing it so well.

It was still difficult for me, but it was so emotional, but also funny,"

the 57-year-old commented on the video that her daughter recorded during the surprise.

So it seems as if the action was a success – the joy about it is written on Carmen's face (Carmen Geiss used to look so different).

Recently, however, the pretty blonde was anything but in the mood to celebrate – Carmen Geiss' mother died.

All the better that she can now laugh again.
